DormTool provides free interactive tools and practical guides for college students navigating dorm life, independent living, and personal finances. Every tool is built as a single HTML file — no frameworks, no databases, no signups. Your data stays in your browser; nothing gets collected.

I started this as a way to turn the most stressful parts of the college transition — packing, budgeting, splitting bills with roommates — into something you can just check off, instead of stress about. Whether you're packing for your first dorm room, figuring out if you can afford that off-campus apartment, or coordinating a move-out with three roommates, that's what this is for.

DormTool is a solo project. I write and organize the content myself, using AI tools to help research, draft, and keep everything up to date faster than I could alone — then I review and edit before anything goes live. No team, no company behind it, just one person trying to make this stuff a little less painful for the next batch of students.
